Julie Russell

Club Woman of the Year

This award honors a member who exemplifies our principle of "Living the Volunteer Spirit" through her commitment to our club and our community.

Julie Russell was active in socials, attending the soup and salad dinner, the breakfast social, the new member social and the international dinner. She went to the movies, helped make comfort pillows, helped staff the desk at the Bertha madras event at Minnechaug High School, participated in both setup and Bunny Breakfast activities, came to summer concerts at Fountain Park and made a boxwood tree. Additionally, Julie helped us find a new venue for our meetings and was the only person who made it to wrap presents for the Children's Study Home. She did all this while going back and forth to Michigan to help her elderly parents. Julie, you are Clubwoman of the Year!
